Founders
The Business Integrated Governance Community Interest Company (and previously the Core P3M Data Club CIC) relies on volunteers to generate material, grow and operate.
Many have helped, some have contributed significantly in some way. However, only a few have provided either sustained contribution or helped in such a way as to have enabled the CIC.
The following people have, in the opinion of the BIG CIC, provided such a ‘founding’ contribution:

Specifically interested in Governance, Vision, Definition, Business Case, Outcomes, Benefits, Single Version of the Truth & “Strategy to Delivery and Back Again”. David Dunning | Founder of the Business Integrated Governance CIC (and the original Core P3M Data Club), Co-founder of Deep Team and CPS. | Provided the initial inspiration / ideas / seed material for V1 and facilitated development workshops involving c.50 people. Continued to lead development into V2 and drive stakeholder engagement across numerous communities, professional groups and partner organisations. | |
Martin Samphire | Experienced management consultant and programme director / lead in private / public sectors. Former Chair of the APM Governance SIG – authored or co-authored APM guides (Directing, Sponsoring, Directing Agile Change), authored Section 19 - Governance of organisational project management and projects of the Gower Handbook of Programme Management (2016 2nd edition). | Was an initial participant in the initiative. Provided thought leadership in portfolio management and governance in BIG V1. Provided extensive review of initial concept and co presented several BIG workshops. Extensive input to V2 development and review. | |
Pamela Schure | Management Consultant, Product Manager - expert in Agile, Product Management, Product Marketing, Consulting, Organizational Change, Training, Coaching, OKRs. Author of Product Management for Dummies. | Key participant in the initiative to enable the connection of Product Management. Significant contribution and edit of the Product Node in BIG. Ross Miller | Highly experienced & committed Business & Change Consultant & leader seeking opportunities to help businesses, social enterprises, CIOs and community organisations to develop robust governance, financial sustainability, clarity of purpose, enhanced outcomes etc. | Has become an active supporter of the BIG Concept and latterly a Director of the BIG CIC - specifically tackling the BIG CIC website. | |
Sachin Melwani | Has 20+ years of experience delivering PMO, Programme Delivery and Transformational Change on major ERP and infrastructure projects. Member of the Association of Cost Engineers Southwest Regional Board, Nuclear Institute's Digital SIG, and an extensive public speaker to university / industry conferences. An AXELOS P3M3 Qualified Assessor, and Six Sigma certified. | Was active in the thought leadership around BIG before COVID lockdown and has again become a key voice of experience and reason in the Launch of V2, while also editing and providing material contributions. | |
Simon Harris | Has many years of experience within the portfolio, programme and project management industry where he has been a successful consultant and trainer, having created operating frameworks and built a library of materials. Since a stroke in October 2020 he has been recovering and has retired from commerce - but he is still thinking and is interested in use of tech enabled community for brain injury rehab. Latterly involved in community-based collaboration. | Was an initial participant in the initiative. Provided thought leadership across the portfolio, programme and project management perspective. Provided extensive review of initial concept and supported creation of initial BIG presentation materials. Was forced to pause involvement with the initiative but has now become active in our collaboration domain. |
